William Shakespeare has enduring fame, not only because he wrote extrodinary plays, but because he dared to be different. One way he was different was that he wrote his plays in four different categories, comedy, history, tragedy and poetry. This told people that he was very talented and creative because he could shift from writing a tragedy play to writing a comedy play very easily. It was also daring because the Queen could have beheaded him if she felt one of the plays were insulting. Another way he was different is that he is that he had very strong opinions about the English Royalty. He felt that they made all the desicions, some of which were bad. He also disagreed strongly with the practice of schools beating children who didn't behave. This made him frustrated with society because he thought children were too young to be beaten. "Pish!" Shakespeare would say to the school, the word 'pish' an insult of his. All in all, Shakspeare was very different from society. Shakespeare is enduringly famous because he dared to be different from the average person.
